Sweden’s E-2 Approvals Are Irregular

Sweden has been a later addition to the treaty countries (1992) that has had a great response to the program and maintained a consistent average over the last years.

This year Sweden is struggling to recover the E-2 visa approval numbers of previous years, having very uneven months. For example, in April, there were only two approvals while, in July, there were 40. Hopefully, it will soon recover pre-COVID-19 pandemic average.
