Peru does not have an active E-2 visa treaty with the U.S. Therefore, Peruvians do not qualify for the E-2 investor visa. Citizens of countries without an E-2 visa treaty usually apply using their second nationality (if they have dual nationality from an E-2 treaty country) or by participating in citizenship by investment programs (e.g., Grenada) to obtain E-2 eligible citizenship. Taking advantage of the second nationality has been a great tool to access the E-2 visa.
