We had a German client that was approved with his E2 visa in Frankfurt who engaged us in May and fast forward two months, he invested. Due to COVID, there was a long time to get the E2 visa, three, four months, it should be more like a month or two.
With the data that’s in a franchise, you can make decisions pretty fast. For buying an existing business, expect to take one to two years, because you’re gonna do due diligence on the business, and there’s gonna be issues.
So with a franchise, you have a much more defined range of when you’re gonna break even, and when you’re able to really get nice profits from the business.
If you have a great idea and, particularly if you’re already doing a lot of business in the U.S. definitely consider a startup. But, if you’re constrained with time, and you’re more risk-averse, it might be a good idea to do your first business investment in the U.S. as a franchise.
