Overview
Frios Gourmet Pops is a mobile gourmet popsicle franchise and the largest of its kind in the country. They offer hand-poured pops made with high-quality, fresh ingredients and an extensive menu of unique flavors that appeal to both kids and adults. Frios has developed a modern twist on the traditional ice cream truck through their branded "Sweet Ride" vans, giving owners the flexibility to sell at community festivals, sports events, farmers markets, neighborhoods, and more. In addition, they provide a low-cost, low-overhead business model with no storefront required, comprehensive training, and ongoing franchise support, making it an accessible entry point for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Management team / founders
After a successful career in his family's oil and gas supply company in Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Cliff Kennedy discovered Frios Gourmet Pops as a customer and was instantly drawn to the business model and its potential. From 2017 to 2018, he studied the franchise in depth and became a multi-unit franchisee himself. Recognizing opportunities to improve and scale the brand, he acquired the company in December 2018 and is now the CEO. Jen Rogers serves as Brand President and CMO, bringing over two decades of experience building and scaling brands, and Alison Groom, a former franchisee herself, serves as VP of Operations. With territories available across the U.S., Frios is dedicated to the continued success of franchisees. Franchise owners are assisted with every step prior to launching, as well as with continuous support from the management team. Comprehensive training is provided to help owners build a profitable business quickly, even with no prior experience.
