Management team / founders
While pursuing a computer science degree, Jeff Salter, founder of Caring Senior Service, saw the struggles families faced in coordinating care for loved ones. Using his technical skills and knowledge of home care, he created a more efficient system to improve care. In 1991, he founded Caring Senior Service, a non-medical home care company aimed at helping seniors maintain independence. As demand grew, Jeff expanded the company to multiple locations, positively impacting aging individuals and their families. Moreover, Jeff foresaw the increasing need for high-quality home care services across the United States. In response, in 2002, he initiated the franchising of Caring's successful business model. This strategic move not only allowed compassionate entrepreneurs to join the mission of providing top-notch home care services but also facilitated the expansion of care options for families in communities nationwide.
